Lab Report Analysis – Comparing two published lab reports, my focus was on analyzing the formats of the report rather than the content. Though the content was a considered factor in evaluating the format, it was not compared to the same extent. By comparing two different formats to the one depicted by the course textbook, it revealed how a custom or modified format better suited each report.

Technical Description (The Roomba Red) – The technical description is a direct analysis of a technological machine. It only consists of observations and justification of each part found in the machine. I chose to report on The Roomba Red, an autonomous vacuum from iRobot.

Engineering Proposal – The engineering proposal is a collaboration work that consists of an idea for a technological innovation and a technical description for the machine. Whereas the other projects are reports, this proposal is an original idea that we, as a group, developed in different aspects, such as design, function and production and market value.
